The zoo of Les Sables is an accredited member of the
European association for the preservation of threatened species (the EEP).
It has some 60 species on its grounds, ranging from tiny primates to the
great giraffe, a new addition whose arrival has been a major event for the
zoo this summer.
Mindy also learned about the training of zoo workers and managers. It is a field that require quite specialized training. |
