Lest we forget . . .

Our rhythm of class and field trip has become almost routine by now.  Like yesterday, a class session consists largely of follow-up and quizzes on our previous work and preparation for what is to follow.  Our test yesterday on the history and geography of Les Sables went very well.  Almost all remembered the rue Jean Moulin and the role this martyr of the Resistance played in WW II.   Almost all also noted the "rue Zigzag" as the funniest street name they ran across.  Today we hope our lectures on the Vendée Wars will make this field trip all the more meaningful.

It is in that hope that we take the Vendée-Mobile to the historic Logis de la Chabotterie.
