1000 - Train to Guimaraes.
1100 - Arrive Guimaraes.
1230 - Tour Castelo.
1300 - Lunch at Cervejaria Martins.
1400 - Tour old town.
1530 - Walk to Penha and take funicular.
1800 - Return to Guimaraes.
1900 - Return via train to Porto
2130 - Bus back to Foz, dinner on your own.

 

7/14 Saturday

Free time. Optional: train ride on the Douro from Porto to Pocinho.

 

7/18 Wednesday

930 - Bus to UFP.
1000 - Train to Coimbra.
1130 - Arrive Coimbra. Tour with Manuel Portela, including: University, the Botanical gardens, the Old Cathedral [Sé Velha], the Church of Santa Cruz, the Museum Machado de Castro, the Monastery of Santa Clara-a-Velha.
1300 - Lunch.
1400 - Continue tour
1900 - Return to Porto.
2130 - Bus back to Foz. Dinner on your own.

 

7/22 Sunday

1000 - Meet at Museu Nacional Soares dos Reis (free Sundays).
1300 - Lunch at Capa Negra.
1430 - Tour Palacio de Cristal.
1600 - Tour Museu do Vinho do Porto (free Sundays).
1800 - Visit Ponte de Arrabida.
1900 - Return to Foz. Dinner on your own.

700 - Bus to Sao Bento train station.
745 - Train to Viana do Castelo.
918 - Arrive Viana.
1300 - Lunch.
1830 - Dinner.
1933 - Train back to Porto.
2145 - Arrive Porto. Bus back to Foz.
