Monday the 13th

Dr. V. and I have spent part of our weekend reading the first chapters in the journals of our Vendéens.  These are as great a treasure as any we will explore on our visits here.  As professors of language and culture, nothing is more exciting than to see the discoveries our students are making every day and every minute.  One discovery our Lucie makes is the growth and approaching maturity of her little cousins, Hermine and Juliette.   Since these class days are fairly routine, I may not report every day from here on out.  [I do take advantage of a short picture day to try this:  a video from one of our quizzes from last Friday:  Try this link (and it requires Apple QuickTime). Note: after over an hour of trying, the video has refused to upload.  I will try again later.  ml]
