Kathleen Kubal and Heather Ramsey pose for a shot over the nearby fields and forests -- lands that were once under the sea that washed against the walls of this very castle. The work in the marshes by medieval monks and the canals we saw earlier this week pushed the sea back to several kilometers from here. |
