I attended Penn State University where my interest in teaching writing began through the influence of two excellent writing instructors and my involvement with the Penn State literary magazine. I graduated from Penn State University in 2002 with a B.A. in English and a creative writing emphasis.
I am currently working on my M.A. at West Virginia University with a focus on Composition and Rhetoric. While completing my studies, I am teaching first and second year composition at WVU.
I live in Morgantown, WV with my husband, Kenny, my two daughters, Kailey (6) and Livy (3), and our dog, Jopa.
