The West Virginia Association for Positive Behavior Support (WV APBS) Network’s Partners offer training on Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and PBS related topics throughout West Virginia. Many of these trainings are free to consumers, families of consumers, case managers, healthcare professionals, school personnel, and others who are interested in Positive Behavior Support.
This page is updated regularly, but please bear in mind that the trainings and conferences posted here are for reference purposes only. Schedule changes/cancellations may occur. Individuals who are interested in attending a training session or conference should contact the WV APBSNetwork Partner provided to get additional information and confirm the scheduled date, time and location of the event. Registration may be required for some events.
Please Note: Any network member is welcome to attend any Leadership Committee event. These events are not limited to the West Virginia Association for Positive Behavior Support (WV APBS) Leadership Team. Directions: From Interstate 79, take the Flatwoods exit #67. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left (from north) or right (from south) and continue 0.1 miles to WV State Route 4. Turn right on WV State Route 4 and proceed for 0.2 miles. The DHHR office is located on the left just before the antique mall.
