We were really smart this year. Yesterday was the hottest day of the summer so far. Dr. V. and I decided to go for a motel with air conditioning. We did the right thing. It's hard to describe the effort all this takes, but a good night's sleep makes all the difference in the world. Every one is cheerful and rested today at breakfast.
