My personal taste goes to the "Breton coast", that facing north to Brittany. As we head south on Yeu, we return to more ordinary scenes. On the coast of Vendée, these beaches are a part of every day's experience. Nevertheless, their presence on the isle of Yeu is both reassuring and refreshing. |
