Today is a normal day in class, but a very special day in
France. My first surprise is a post-Father's-Day gift of Vendée "Bière
du Puits d'Enfer". My students know my heart, as well as that of Old
Vendée. The real event today is the "Fête de la Musique", which always occurs on the 21rst of June (also my daughter Allison's birthday). Normally this is the sunniest day of the year, but today it's raining, thus the "Wet de la Musique". |
