Cheese it!
At the market Dr. V. took advantage and brings in a catch
of her own. We've walked and talked quite a bit
this morning so our break allows us to actually taste some of the
products we've learned about. The prime focus of the tasting is a
variety of cheeses that are produced on farms right around here.
The mizolle, maranzo and halbran are made from
cow's milk, but we also enjoy some fresh goat cheese and some goat tomme.
Since it's still quite early we don't have wine, which often accompanies
such fine cheeses. Instead we have an assortment of fresh fruits,
including locally produced figs and strawberries.
After this break, we are back to our regular quizzes and lectures, as some anxiously await a weekend well deserved. |
