Biographical Information

A native of Preston County, West Virginia, I have spent most of my life in the state. My profession has always been teaching, either in public schools or higher education. I currently live on a farm that is part of family land dating to the Civil War. I share my home with my husband John, our son, and a menagerie of farm animals, all considered family members.  In attention to teaching, I enjoy Storytelling with my tandem telling partner June Riffle; together we are known as “Mountain Echoes.”
