LOG
June 20, 2002
Our great friend Diane
returned to the fray -
What a great moment for a
memorable day.
Our voices did chatter,
the volume did grow.
It gave me some pause to
think and to know
How close we've become,
should our families be scared
To learn in such time all
the secrets we've shared?
Feedback sheets should
show what you like
So that next year these
folks will send an invite!
Logs were read by Diane
and Judy.
Molly brought sweets for
the snack table booty.
We sat back to attend to
our very brave fellows
For they were presenters
of our first summer Demos!
Character differences were
taught by Louise
Some fellows made
potato-heads seem like a breeze.
Embarrassing moments were
shared by a few
But the best part of all
was to get up and do.
A dramatic reading of
"Ah Love, Ah Me!"
Made all of us want to be
taught by Dee.
We voyaged to Fairmont in
various ways.
Led by Ms. Manley with
signals and waves.
Lunch in the garden -
marvelous choice
It gave us the option to
laze or to voice.
Much thanks to Sally for
being a honey
But lady you forgot to
collect all our money!
On to West Fairmont and
Room 204 -
A place that could use
some of Sally's décor.
And here Ms. Clark took us
under her wing
Hoping her knowledge would
help us to swing.
We learned about
networking, copyright, and Word,
For me it was great but
for Molly, absurd.
And thanks go to Ellen for
showing the way.
The "getting to know
you" brightened my day.
