NARRATIVE
Two loudspeakers
producing the same tone placed a certain distance apart act as a double slit Young's
Experiment for electromagnetic waves. The two speakers are hooked up through the stereo
amplifier and placed at different ends of the lecture table. An audio oscillator is then
connected to the amplifier and the students can hear the interference by moving their
heads from side to side. Additionally, you can hook up the oscilloscope with the
microphone and by moving the microphone from one speaker to the other, they can see the
interference projected by the video projector.
