NARRATIVE
        Connect the large coil to about 4 VDC from the small DC power supply through a reversing switch. When the small coil is inserted and withdrawn, current is induced. If the small coil is placed inside the larger one, and the current is switched off and on, current will be induced. Iron bars placed inside the coils act as a flux link and will cause the induced current to increase.

CAUTION: Avoid excessive meter deflection by adjusting the source voltage to allow for full scale deflection when all iron bars are used.
