Another day at the office.

As we finish the exam, one of our students remarks, "We sure had a lot to learn yesterday."  It was a compliment, not a complaint, and our host Agnès was the primary object.  The Chabotterie itself is a marvelously well presented lesson in the life of 18th-century rural France.  The results of our quiz today is but further proof of the richness of its offerings.  It's amazing how much these students are retaining from such excursions.

I should note also that everywhere we go, we are getting wonderful comments on the group of WVU-Vendéens.  Our driver Clément yesterday was especially impressed by the facility of expression he noted among the Vendéens.
