Atelier: A Commons Theory Workshop
This is a workspace for work on the commons theory of association, and associated scholarly interests of the site owner and operator, Roger A. Lohmann, Ph.D., Emeritus Professor of Social Work at West Virginia University. Interested visitors to the workshop are welcome to stop by and look around at any time.
A Workshop
Welcome to this online atelier, or workshop. This site is not intended to be a typical academic website. It is not primarily for display, "hooking up", classroom instruction or institutional advancement. Nor is it primarily for display, marketing or sale of various academic wares.
It is an author's atelier, or workshop: a working site for theory and conceptual development along several related lines of interest. By design, the site will always be incomplete in many ways and constantly changing, and it won't always be pretty!
This workshop is the project and, except where otherwise noted, intellectual property of Roger A. Lohmann, Emeritus Professor at West Virginia University and the principal investigator of a theoretical project called the commons theory of association, as well as a range of related publications, projects in third sector theory, nonprofit management and leadership, philanthropy, nonprofit finance and other topics.
