This new device, using the "hands-free" concept has two heavy duty alligator spring clips to hold the items to be magnified. They lock at any angle to firmly hold small objects (under the 2 1/2" in diameter) It uses an optically ground glass 2X lens. The base is a heavy cast iron and the fittings are nickel-plated steel.
