    Ed Keller, III is a high school science teacher and a NSF Presidential Science Award winner, a West Virginia State Science Award winner, and a Milken Family Foundation National Educator Awardee. Mr. Keller III has been involved with six NSF Student Training and Young Scholars Programs specifically targeted for students with disabilities, with all six in the area of marine, estuarine, and coastal environments. For the past four summers, he taught over 150 WV science teachers the principles of geology and the geology of West Virginia (in conjunction with the West Virginia Economic and Geological Survey). This project was funded by NSF. He has published on science education and disabled students and has had a considerable amount of experience in training science teachers ad disabled students (mainly students with hearing impairments) over the past 20 years. He has taught science at the elementary, junior high, and high school levels. He is also a co-author of the Workbook on Marine Sciences for students with hearing impairments.
