The participants were initially contacted for the study. The procedure followed had the experimenters call the participants on the phone and make the initial request. Several days later the same group was contacted and alerted about the upcoming bloodmobile visit to the campus. results showed minimal compliance with the verbal request and little to no compliance with the desired behavior.
