CV

I am a postdoctoral researcher at Physics Department of West Virginia University studying pulsars in recently established pulsar group together with pulsar leaders, Dunc Lorimer and Maura McLaughlin. Of my paticular interests is amazing phenomenon of "giant pulses" in pulsar radio emission that presently is known to be revealed only in 7 pulsars out of more than 1800 discovered so far.

I am at WVU since September, 2006. Before that I was a researcher at Astro Space Center of the Lebedev Physical Institute in Moscow (2001-2006) with a break of 5 months in 2005 when I was a postdoc at York University in Toronto in Norbert Bartel's group. I defended my Ph.D. thesis in April 2004 at Lebedev Physical Institute. Earlier I was a student at Sternberg Astronomical Institute of Lomonosov Moscow State University (1993-1999) and a graduate student at Astro Space Center (1999-2002).
