Welcome to Jason's page

I am originally from Franklin Pa. I recieved my diploma from Franklin Area High School in 1998. I got my B. S. in physics from Clarion University in Pa. in 2004. I moved to Morgantown in August of 2005 and began graduate studies at West Virginia University. I joined the pulsar group in 2006. I obtained my M. S. in physics in 2009 from WVU.

Since joining the pulsar group I have done a little work on the RRATs. Most of my time has been spent on the GBT Drift scan survey at 350 MHz. A large group of people are involved with this work. We took advantage of the GBT track repair and used the telescope in drift scan mode and observed the sky as it past. From this summer we got 134 TB of data to reduce and look through for new pulsars. So far I have found nine new pulsars including two MSPs and hopefully many more on the way for me and the other members of the drift scan group.
