I always love a solid forest of one type of tree. Here is a birch forest in Whiteshell Provincial Park in southern Manitoba.
This is the view from the high point of the Carthew-Alderson Trail in Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta.
This is Carthew Lakes along the same trail. You can see the trail entering the photo at lower right and winding around the lake to the left.
This is Blakistan Falls near the townsite of Waterton Lakes National Park. The bluish tint is expected for a picture like this where the sun is not illuminating any of the scene.
This is also taken at Waterton Lakes National Park. It shows sunlight reflecting off water wavecrests.
This is a lovely mountain reflection off of the Kootenay River in southern British Columbia.
This is Crowsnest Mountain which is also in southern British Columbia.
This is the worlds largest dumptruck which is in Sparwood, British Columbia. The truckbed can hold 2 buses and 2 pickup trucks. I am standing by the front tire and some random tourist is inside the back tire.
