English 305, Scientific and Technical Writing

The online version of English 305 is designed for part-time learners so that they may develop effective strategies for communicating with other people about and with technology. The course helps students develop professional writing skills as they analyze writing contexts and respond to them with informative and visually effective print and electronic documents. The course also teaches the rhetorical principles that will help students shape their technical writing to suit a range of readers, for multiple purposes, and in a variety of professional situations. English 101 and 102 are prerequisites.
