My bedroom in my apartment is very descriptive of me as a person. It's a little sloppy, a little organized, a little bit of everything. It's not huge, but it is usually big enough for me.

The walls are painted boring white, but I've added pictures that I bought of beach scenes and old advertisements and also pictures of my friends from home and from college . I have a ceiling fan that's usually dusty and hanging from it is a Steelers fish made from a CD that I got for Christmas this year.

My bed is the most dominating thing in my room. It's a queen size bed and the top of it is about three and a half feet off of the ground. I have a really pretty burgundy bedspread that also has some gold and purple in it. I have about eight pillows, which are pushed to the side that I don't sleep on. They're really just there to look pretty. Also on the side of my bed that I don't sleep on there is usually an assortment of bags, books, notebooks, clothes, and anything else that I haven't had time to put away.

At the end of my bed is my laundry pile. My personal philosophy on laundry is "Why wash something unless you've run out of it?" This means that things like shirts pile up forever until it's the end of the semester and I have 14 loads of laundry to do.

My desk is built into the wall. I try to keep it organized but the cluttered side of my personality has a tendency to creep in. It consists of the main desk area and three shelves above it.

I have two closets in my room. One with shelves and one with two rows of bars to hang things on. In my closets is also where I keep my shoes and bags. Between the closets on the floor is a basket where I keep old magazines.

There's also a dresser in my room for more clothes. It is painted burgundy to match my bedspread. My TV and DVD player sit on top of the dresser, along with a jar I keep change in, two candles, and two picture frames.
