The room I loved most at my old house on Richwood was MY room. Being the first house I ever rented on my own, this was officially my room!
It had red walls that my mom and I hand painted and
2 wooden dressers against the wall that me and my dad had to build. And trust me, you could tell that we built them!
I got a hand-me-down wooden vanity from my Uncle Steve and my mom made floor-length black drapes for my windows.
The original carpet was still in the room, an ugly old green you could tell was from the 70's.
I carted my tiny white TV that I've had since high school into my room so i could watch with basic cable and my collection of Disney movies.
I lived lived in this room for 2 years and experienced a lifetime of fun.
During my rein, I rescued 2 baby kittens!! I kept their food, water and litter box in my tiny room, which made my room smell like a barn yard.
Every night i slept on a queen size bed with black sheets and tan blanket. I arranged my bed in the corner of my room surrounded by walls. Enclosure helps me sleep!
Outside of my room was a different story! I had a jungle outside my second floor windows. I considered this area my own personal "trash-cans", that is until my neighbor yelled at me for throwing my trash out the window!
My neighbors were 4 guys :)
So while on Thanksgiving break, the house flooded through the broken pipes in my floor.
My carpets got soaked!
I am proud to say that my room was the hang out for me and my roomates!!
I had a ton of posters hanging in my room. They brought a fun and relaxing place to hang out.
The worst part about my room was I had a tiny closet. I had NO room for clothes and they ended up ALL OVER my floor!
Being the girl that I am, I kept all my stuffed animals with me on my bed. I slept with them every night, along with 4 oversized pillow and 3 blankets!
I loved my room on the 2nd floor of my house, next to Jens room, under Laura's room, above Stephs room and immediately to the left when you walk up my old creaky wooden steps.
