- 6. Relax, and wait for your clothes to be done.
-

List and Explanation of Design Patterns Used
- 1. Safe Navigation – We will be using arrows at the bottom of each page of our website, links to specific step numbers, as well as a “home” link to allow the user to go to any page on the site with a single click. This is important so that the user won’t get lost in the site, and will always be able to easily return to the previous page or the homepage.
- 2. Intriguing Branches – We will be using links to related websites that allow the user access to additional information on the topic. (i.e. Maytag, Tide, etc.)
List and Explanation of Illustrations Used
- 1. At least one picture for each step in the site. Pictures will include washing machines, laundry, knobs, soap, and any other materials related to the washing of clothes. All of these pictures were taken by members of the group.
- 2. Other illustrations include a bubble background, forward/previous arrows, and a laundry clip art on the splash page.
Explanation of site Architecture and Navigation
- 1. Each step will have its own page, and each page will link to all other pages on the site, including the homepage.
- 2. The architecture is very linear with a specific beginning and end page. However, the site does allow users to determine their own pattern of navigation.
