Course Descriptions: COMM 316
Intercultural Communication. 3 hr. PR: COMM 100 and 102 or 104. Examines
similarities and differences between cultures with regard to norms, values,
and practices in verbal and nonverbal communication. Emphasis on communication
in Latin American, Asian, African, and Middle Eastern cultures.
Note: This course meets 3 hours of WVU LSP, Cluster B requirements
and can be used to satisfy the LSP Culture/Gender Studies requirement as
well as the Eberly College of Arts & Sciences Multicultural requirement.
