Objective:  Pancreatic exocrine secretion is hormonally regulated to maintain neutrality of the duodenal contents and to optimize digestion.

1.  Enterogastrones
        a.  secretin and pancreatic duct cells
        b.  cholecystokinin  and pancreatic acinar cels
2.  Liver
        a.  bile canaliculi
3.  Enterohepatic circulation
        a.  bile salts, cholesterol, lecithin and bilirubin
4.  Small intestine and large intestine
