Technology-Related Assistance for Students with Disabilities
In 1988, the Technology-Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities Act was created to serve individuals with disabilities, their families, and professionals. Amendments that were added in 1994 expanded the original to include services in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the U. S. territories. The act provides funds to set up Assistive Technology Projects Services.
