So long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Adieu

It is our last day in Vendée, and we have
had a busy morning in class. We discussed our adventures at the
Puy du Fou, then the students filled out the evaluations for the
program. Finally, they had a couple of hours left to finish their
last vodcast. Now, it is time for a last group picture before we all scatter in Europe or in the States. This year, none of the Vendéens are graduating in August, so we know we will all meet again in a few weeks to study, minus the beach!

| It has been an excellent trip for us, the
Lastingkoff. We can truly say that this group has been the easiest
to direct. More importantly, we have been extremely impressed by
the 2011 Vendéens' dedication to their study of the French language.
We've hardly heard any English during this trip, even during those
moments when it was allowed (during dessert on excursion days).
