Scholarship Funds

Student scholarships not only address the financial need of many of our students but also provide a way for the Eberly College to recognize the academic promise and achievement of our most gifted young scholars. The impact that this type of private support makes in the lives of our students is extraordinary.

Endowed Named Scholarship

  • Principal investment of $25,000
  • In tribute, each endowed scholarship will be named in honor of its donor, or the donor may wish to honor someone else
  • The establishment of this type of scholarship will be memorialized with a brick in the WVU Scholars Walkway located on the lawn of the downtown library
Donors are able to shape the type of scholarship fund they would like to establish. One can elect to identify the rank and major of students they would like to help and even include geographical restrictions. Scholarships can be based only on the academic merit of students or can be combined with financial need.
