Frank & Bernardina Biafora Scholarship

As a Dean's Leadership Scholarship, the Biafora Scholarship will annually support an academic achiever who demonstrates leadership ability or promise by serving the community through extracurricular activities. The scholarship honors the hardworking immigrant parents from Clarksburg, WV and the values which they instilled in their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

-Joseph R. Biafora, BA Political Science 1942, and Stefi Poluck Biafora of Panorama City, CA Joseph was the first in his family to attend college and earn a degree.

Gladys Hoylman King Scholarship

Even though Gladys did not graduate from high school, she always told her children to work hard and get a good education if they wanted to be successful in life. To her credit, her children all graduated from WVU and went on to pursue careers in law and higher education administration.
