Student Academic Enrichment Funds

This special source of private funding provides students enrolled in the Eberly College opportunities to participate in activities that complement, extend, and enhance their academic experiences at WVU.

Academic Enrichment Funds could support student participation in:

  • Field trips
  • Internships
  • Workshops and conferences
  • Research with a distinguished faculty member
  • Study abroad opportunities
  • Public service and service learning projects

Since its inception in 1995, during the college's centennial, the program has provided mini- grants to literally hundreds of students, thus allowing them to seize opportunities that they might not otherwise have been able to realize.

Student Academic Enrichment Funds:

  • Endowed at the $10,000 level but many of our alumni have chosen to establish their individual funds at $25,000 or higher in order to provide greater resources for our students
  • In tribute, each endowed fund will be named in honor of its donor
  • Donors may elect to support specific departments or programs
