Graduate students from many WVU academic departments receive practical training and firsthand experience in the art of survey research. Such training is carried out through the WVUSRC in formal courses, workshops, internships, and assistantships. Graduate students work closely with faculty and professional staff to build upon their knowledge of survey research.
In addition to graduate student training, the WVUSRC offers a unique opportunity to assist faculty and staff in further developing their skills. The WVUSRC provides learning opportunities in all areas of survey research, including research design, data collection, data management, and data analysis. Instruction is provided through formal workshops, personalized training, and consultation.
