A primary objective of the WVUSRC is to assist faculty with various aspects of the research process. WVUSRC staff work with faculty on questionnaire design, sampling procedures, telephone and mail interviews, data management, data analysis, and report writing.
Because many faculty have limited research funds, the WVUSRC encourages interdisciplinary research teams to utilize survey research designs. By bringing together scholars with similar methodological needs, we are able to provide accurate data collection procedures at more affordable rates. Unique among research organizations as WVU, the WVUSRC can provide the stable supply of staff and resources necessary to effectively implement high-quality survey research.
