Rachel Stein

is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at West Virginia University. She completed her Ph.D. in Sociology at the University of Akron in 2008. Her research and teaching interests are in the area of criminology and victimization. The focus of her dissertation is how individuals’ lifestyles affect victimization risk in a cross-national perspective.
