School of Applied Social Sciences to host dialogue on “America at War”April 20

Morgantown, WV, April 18, 2006: The Nova Institute and School of Applied Social Sciences in the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences at West Virginia University will sponsor the second half of its “America at War” dialogue series this Thursday.

“America at War: Part Two” will be held Thursday, April 20 from 7 to 9 p.m. in room 248 Hodges Hall. The event is free and open to the public and university community.

The dialogue will begin with a brief presentation from Jeremy Harrison, Iraq war veteran and full-time therapist at the Vet Center in Morgantown. Mr. Harrison will discuss the implications of war on both the veterans and their families. The dialogue will begin after the presentation. Veterans, civilians, parents and spouses of veterans, students, faculty, staff and anyone with an interest or concern about the war are strongly encouraged to attend.
