June 16: Fishes and Tigers or Vendée at the Limits
Clemenceau lived in the time of the Impressionists. One good friend was Manet, who did a famous portrait of Georges early in his career (Google: Clemenceau/Manet- Images). Clemenceau's true best friend was another painter -- Monet. These gardens were conceived by Monet, with the gardens of Giverny in mind.
