Now, don't be mistaken. Maggie has not eaten too many of those pink shrimp -- that's what flamingos do. She's all red because she's been caught red-handed -- or red-tongued that is. Do you remember the color of that English flag of Richard's? Well here it is. Meals are conducted in French, true blue, but Maggie said something in English, by gosh. Not to worry. She was prophetically punished earlier on, if you remember. (If not, go back to that pillory at Talmont and look again.)
