Today is a happy day in Vendée, and also a sad one. It's the first day of the last week in Les Sables. That means no more quizzes!!! The visits we'll do this week will tie together much of what we've done for the last few weeks. For Dr. V. and me, the happiest part of this week is that we get to see the oral reports for the culture and communication projects our Vendéens have been working on. The other happy part of today is that we have guests here from good ol' WVU! Anneke and Johan Seynnaeve have come to France for a conference in Strasbourg. Nothing makes us happier than to have friends from home on a visit to Vendée.
