Our students take at least two quizzes per week, they take notes in the field, the keep a daily journal and dictionary, and they'll do a final written and oral report on their individual research project in the community. Today, we ask for a couple of volunteers to report in the "quinconce", another WVU-V tradition. The quinconce is a five-point ideo-gramme and we usually ask for two a day during our visits. Ashley Hatfield has done one of her quinconces on the Church of Saint-Philbert, it's origins, and it's history. The card she holds is the actual quinconce, the whiteboard shows the resumé she presents to the class.
