Dr. V. and I have never before left our children behind to come on this trip. This year we had a special project in Angers, and we had to leave early. Our other two children, Allison and Alexander, are older now and have summer projects back in the States. Our big event this morning is meeting our 10-year-old Lucie, who comes to join us after finishing her school year at Saint Francis in Morgantown, WV.
