Day One -- The Louvre

Our trip down to the foundations of the Louvre brings us back to the Hundred Years War.  At the darkest time for France young Henry V of England seemed ready to reign over two great kingdoms -- England and France.  His victory over Charles VI made this all but inevitable.  Looking at this helmet that belonged to Charles VI, it's easy to see why he was called "Charles le Fou" (Charles the Mad).  A blow like that would knock anybody senseless...
