Tantalizing!

Greta Globosky is a double major in French and Finance at WVU.  Her project focuses on the profession of accountant as practiced in France, and she shares a world of information with us today.  One thing we learn is that after high school (the nationally certified "bac"), a French CPA will spend 8 to 10 more years in school and in internship before being fully licensed.  As in the US, accountants here must be fully aware of tax laws and business practices in many domains.  Here in Les Sables, managing the affairs of recent retirees and of young entrepreneurs is the major focus of most local accountants.   Among other things, Greta has learned the her favorite American company, Ernst and Young, has 17 major offices in France.  Maybe one day, Greta, such a company will be lucky enough to have you on board...
