The Teeth of the Sea!

This fish is called "Saint-Pierre" or "Saint Peter" because of the dark "finger print" it carries on both sides just in the center of its body.  The legend says that when Peter held this fish the example made the other disciples the fishers of men that they became.  A more naturalistic explanation is that this spot makes the whole fish look like a giant eye, thus putting the "fear of God" in any would-be predator.
