Each of these tools was critical to humans who lived in a world where fire itself was a new discovery. In a few minutes Joe will show us how that fire was mastered by those early humans. I switch to video for this display and I may be able to get that on line by this weekend (depending on my connection, etc). In any case, the next part of this visit is inside the primitive great house, where the fire that nourished our foremothers's hearts and hearths was made from simple wood or stone. |
