Our own race today is the "Rally of La Chaume", a race to benefit the works done by Catholic Relief for the poor of both Les Sables and La Chaume, its sister city across the port. Jessie Reckart is a winner from the start. Her scratch-off ticket gives her a flashlight from the get-go. |
