Blue Skies o'er Blackminster

We give up the idea of crossing the Gois again and go back to the Continent across the recently built bridge from Noirmoutier to France.  Our visit this afternoon is to the marshes of northern Vendée.  We see here a "bourrine" which is the typical house of the marsh-dwellers here for centuries before our times.  Though the lifestyle dates to pre-history, this house was inhabited in its original form and function until the 1970's.
