Aliénor loved music as much as any one of her time, perhaps the heritage of her grandfather William IX of Aquitaine, the "first Troubadour" of the Middle Ages. Many churches here document through stone sculptures instruments that have long since disappeared. Here is a model of bagpipe used in those long ago days. |
